Bring out your sensual self with Christchurch’s first boudoir studio. Here’s an easy taster boudoir session with our famous Black Sheet Shoot or White Sheet Shoot.
Which one to choose?
Our famous Black Sheet Shoot is dark, dramatic and moody. It uses flash lighting for drama and shimmer on your skin and the satin sheets
Our White Sheet Shoot is light, soft and ethereal. It uses natural light through the large windows.
Both work really well - the decision is based on the images you want to receive. Take a look at the examples below to see.
Who is this for?
We’ve photographed women from 22 to 63 in a Black Sheet or White Sheet shoot. If you want to feel sensual, if you want to feel empowered, if you want to feel confident, then this is for you.
It’s quick, at 30 minutes, and easy to do. You’ll receive a professional photo shoot and five digital images of your choice. I’ll guide you through flattering poses that suit you. You’ll handle your own hair and makeup.
You’ll leave the photo shoot feeling better about yourself, more confident and more sensual. You’ll feel fabulous.

The experience
You’ll have a fun time! We start with a quick chat to ensure that you get the photos you desire. Next up is 30 minutes of photography. I’ll guide you through everything.
At the end of your Smoke&Mirrors Studio experience you’ll feel fabulous.
You might feel nervous going into this. You’re welcome to bring a quietly supportive friend along with you, if you’d prefer. No boyfriends, partners or husbands please.

The shoot
You’ll be under, or wrapped up in, a sheet lying on our air bed.
Our Black Sheet or White Sheet shoot includes:
pre-session planning consultation to discuss how you’d like to be photographed
fully guided, professional photo shoot that is fun!
private photo reveal and choosing session. You can see all of your beautiful photographs, choose your five images, and decide if you’d like to purchase more digital images. You may even prefer your photos in print, as a framed photo, canvas or in a luxury photo album - details on our Pricing page.
